The Challenge

A 150,000 sq ft logistics and distribution warehouse had no perimeter surveillance, leaving loading docks and the yard unmonitored overnight. Internal aisles storing high-value inventory had no camera coverage, and the vehicle gate relied on a manual security register, making it difficult to investigate stock discrepancies or unauthorised vehicle movement.

Our Solution

Installed a perimeter and yard CCTV ring covering all loading docks, gates, and fence lines, plus aisle-level cameras over high-value storage zones, all recording to a central NVR with 60-day retention. Added ZKTeco access control with vehicle gate logging so every inbound and outbound vehicle and driver is recorded against a digital register. Laid a dedicated industrial-grade network backbone connecting all camera and access points back to the security office, separate from the warehouse management system network.

The Outcome

Security staff now have full visibility of the yard, docks, and high-value storage aisles around the clock, with searchable footage for any incident investigation. The digital vehicle gate log has already helped resolve two stock discrepancy investigations that previously would have taken days. The dedicated security network has had zero downtime since commissioning.
