The Challenge

140-room hotel needed to replace an outdated EPABX that no longer had vendor support, frequently dropped internal calls, and could not integrate with the new property management system. Guest Wi-Fi coverage was patchy in upper floors and banquet areas, leading to repeated guest complaints. Staff also lacked a unified directory for housekeeping, front office, and room service extensions.

Our Solution

Deployed a Grandstream UCM6510 IP PBX with PMS integration for automatic check-in/check-out extension activation, paired with GRP2616 IP phones at the front desk and departmental offices. Rolled out a mesh of high-density access points to deliver seamless guest Wi-Fi across all floors, the lobby, and banquet halls. Integrated ZKTeco biometric access control for staff-only areas including the server room, housekeeping stores, and back-of-house corridors.

The Outcome

Full system went live in 8 days with zero downtime to hotel operations, with phased cutover scheduled overnight. Guest Wi-Fi complaints dropped to near zero within the first month, and staff reported faster internal communication with the new auto-attendant and hunt groups. The hotel now has a single AMC contract covering telephony, Wi-Fi, and access control instead of three separate vendors.
