The Challenge

A business hotel chain with three properties had each location running on different, ageing network equipment installed by different vendors over the years. Guest Wi-Fi performance varied wildly between properties, none of the sites had centralised management, and the chain wanted a consistent telephony experience so guests could be transferred between department extensions the same way at every property.

Our Solution

Standardised all three properties on the same managed switch and access point hardware, configured from a single cloud controller for centralised monitoring and firmware management. Rolled out consistent guest Wi-Fi SSIDs and captive portal branding across all locations, sized for peak occupancy at each property. Deployed Grandstream IP PBX systems at each site on a unified numbering plan, allowing inter-property extension dialling and consistent front-desk call handling procedures.

The Outcome

Guests now experience the same Wi-Fi branding and performance at all three properties, and the chain's IT manager monitors and updates all sites from a single dashboard. Front desk staff can transfer calls between properties using short-code dialling, improving the guest experience for the chain's loyalty members. Network-related support tickets dropped noticeably across all three sites in the months following rollout.
