The Challenge

A chain of 5 schools wanted to move away from chalkboards to digital teaching across all classrooms, but most campuses had unreliable internet in classrooms and no consistent network infrastructure to support dozens of new connected displays simultaneously. Teachers at the schools that had piloted smart boards previously found them slow and unreliable due to poor Wi-Fi.

Our Solution

Upgraded the network backbone and added managed Wi-Fi access points in every classroom block across all 5 campuses, sized to handle simultaneous streaming and casting from interactive displays. Installed interactive flat panel displays with built-in Android OS and screen mirroring in 120 classrooms, along with teacher training sessions on the new content tools. Configured a separate VLAN for classroom devices to keep teaching traffic isolated from administrative systems.

The Outcome

All 120 classrooms across the 5 campuses now run smoothly on the new displays with reliable wireless casting from teacher devices. The network upgrade resolved the reliability complaints from the earlier pilot, and the school chain has since standardised this setup as the template for two upcoming campuses. Teachers report classroom engagement has visibly improved with interactive content.
